New, fast growing PR agency, Eleven Hundred Agency, is looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Senior Account Executive. Formed in January this year, Eleven Hundred Agency provides top-notch PR and content creation campaigns for clients in the technology and professional services industries.
You’ll spend the majority of your days speaking to clients, journalists, analysts and event organisers, coming up with creative ideas, writing fantastic content and running social campaigns. There will also be involvement in the agency’s own new business activities and with creating content for the agency’s website, social streams, award entries and other marketing materials
To be considered for this role you will need to have a good degree level qualification, a minimum of two years PR agency experience in client-facing roles, excellent writing skills and the ability to work under your own initiative and as an integral member of a close knit team.

Job description: Senior Account Executive
As an SAE your typical day will involve a mix of the following:
As a first point of call for clients you must be able to speak with authority about campaign activity and provide valuable advice and counsel. You’ll be in daily contact with clients and take a central role on conference calls and in-person meetings. You’ll assist the co-founders with strategic planning and messaging exercises. You will also take the lead in reporting and keeping clients fully up-to-date on what’s happening on a day to day basis.
Media, analyst, event and social campaigns
You’ll spend the majority of your days speaking to journalists, analysts and event organisers, coming up with creative ideas, writing fantastic content and running social campaigns. You will assist in the organisation of press events, setting up media opportunities, creating briefing materials, staffing events, conducting follow up and reporting. You will also manage and pitch for forward feature opportunities, enter industry awards, manage show calendars and pitch for speaking opportunities, write press releases, blogs, articles, social content, case studies with limited supervision. You will also manage client social media streams.
New business and agency marketing
Assist the co-founders with prospecting, new business proposals and pitches. Help create content for the agency’s website, social streams, award entries and other marketing materials.
Although this won’t be a requirement from day one, as Eleven Hundred Agency continues to grow and hire additional new staff, you will play a role in their development and coaching. Specifically, this will include on the job coaching, providing actionable feedback on their day to day work, conducting regular catch-up meetings to assign tasks and identify areas for training, assisting in the formal review process and the creation of career development plans.
To be considered for this role you will need to have a good degree level academic qualification and a minimum of two years PR agency experience in client-facing roles. You will need to have experience of working under your own initiative and as an integral member of a close knit team. You will need to have a thorough understanding of major trends in the tech industry and the demonstrate the ability to come up with creative story ideas and angles around these trends.
Also required are deep knowledge of the media covering tech stories in the UK market, and a solid list of journalist contacts as well as excellent writing skills and experience, from tweets to technical by-lines, press releases to opinion pieces and everything in between.
