Senior Account Executive

We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious SAE to join our London office. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves working in tech, and is hungry for the next level. You’ll be working with senior client stakeholders, in exciting fields such as robotics, AI and big data. You’ll have 1 year+ experience either agency-side or in- house. You’ll be an enthusiastic go-getter and demonstrate a can-do attitude as a key player in our thriving team. You’ll also like a relaxed but driven environment.

Based Kew Gardens, content creation and media outreach will form a fundamental part of your day to day, so an ability to write for different audiences, including a range of social channels is essential.

What we’re looking for:

1-3 years’ experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Love of tech, especially challenger/scale up brands
Some good contacts with tech media
A quick mind, and not afraid to come up with ideas
Strong social media skills
Experience in using multiple CMS such as Hootsuite, HubSpot and WordPress
Strong attention to detail
Effective time management skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

The key responsibilities of the role include drafting client content which will include but is not limited to press releases, blog posts and social updates. The successful candidate will keep up to date on media stories and trends and assist with research and developing ideas for new business pitches. Responsibilities will also include overseeing and inputting to the reporting of activity and campaign overviews, and organising and managing meetings, briefings, and events where appropriate.

You’ll receive a competitive salary and benefits including a regular performance-based bonus, pension scheme, and work phone. Not to mention regular team socials, early finish Fridays, a gin fridge and an office dog.

If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please send your CV and covering letter to careers@thecommsco.com.
