PR Account Director (part time considered)

Keen to work within a small agency with ambitious growth plans, fantastic clients and fabulous offices with some of the best views of Birmingham? Keep reading!

The role

Established for three years, this agency has achieved phenomenal success and they’re looking for a PR Account Director to join their team. This is a really down to earth environment which is very busy but they need a bit of an extra boost at the senior level to assist the MD, and essentially act as their number two. The key elements of the role will be to manage the hugely talented, but relatively junior team and assist in the implementation of operations and processes - sometimes growing fast means that these things are often overlooked! You’ll also be keen to work on new business, and with this we mean the identification of potential clients through networking as well as the conversion – if you’re used to having a new business agency or specialist supply you with leads, this role will definitely not be for you. The current client portfolio is choc-full of amazing names primarily within the corporate and professional services sector, so if thought leadership, white papers, stakeholder and corporate affairs is your thing you’ll love this role.

What we’re looking for

This is an energetic agency, chomping at the bit to achieve their targets, so we’re looking for someone who really relishes the opportunity of working with a growing team to help them achieve their goals. You’ll need to be self-sufficient, a strong manager and have great skills within client and agency budget planning, forecasting and quality control. You’ll have experience at SAM or AD level within an agency, with those all-important new business skills (remember, identifying them not just converting) and any experience with clients within professional services would be an advantage.

What’s on offer?

City centre location, really funky and friendly offices and a great team spirit are all on offer here. This role could also suit someone looking to reduce their hours to four days per week, or someone looking for full-time work. There’s a generous salary, free fruit and tea and coffee (nice stuff, with a posh machine), childcare vouchers, pension and a bonus scheme is currently being trialled.
