A leading Healthcare Communications agency is looking for an Editorial Assistant/Junior Medical Writer to join its Medical Communications team in London. You will play a key role in the development and delivery of a full range of projects.
You will provide essential support to the Editor across projects and will be involved in copy editing and proof reading editorial materials and conducting referencing and reference preparation tasks. You will be responsible for writing simple scientific documents and developing presentations of clinical data and will be required to liaise directly with authors. You will also be responsible for conducting research to support client briefs and will participate in the initial preparation for events.
To be considered for this position you must be educated to degree level in a science-related subject and have some relevant editorial experience gained through an internship or work experience. You must have a genuine interest in the healthcare industry and have the drive and ambition to pursue an editorial career in medical communications. In addition, you must be highly organised with strong time management skills and a keen eye for detail.
