The role

Our client is a global infrastructure specialist and they’re looking to add a Community Engagement Manager to their team. As part of the role, you will work with internal teams to gain visibility of the planning and development pipeline, ensuring appropriate communications and engagement support is in place. This will involve setting up processes to ensure that best practice activities are rolled out; ensuring strategic ongoing community engagement; advising on how best to capture and record activities delivered through Community Engagement plans. You will be responsible for stakeholder mapping and will be managing positive relationships with communications teams of key stakeholder groups.

What we’re looking for

You must have previous experience of working within a Community Engagement role and will have expert knowledge of community and stakeholder engagement as well as recommending and delivering strategies to build and maintain good long-term community relationships. You will have experience of writing for various audiences on multiple channels including social media/web and be capable of building strong relationships with journalists and working with the media on issues.
