A world-leading communications agency has an opening for an Editorial Director within its Medical Communications team in London. This is an exciting and varied role covering strategy development, new business and team leadership.
This role will not involve publications planning but instead you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of projects for major pharmaceutical companies. You will be responsible for providing clients with strategic counsel and developing and writing strategically focused scientific communication plans that support their marketing goals and objectives. You will drive editorial process accuracy across all activities and will lead the continued development of the editorial team. You will also play a lead role in new business development through driving opportunities within existing accounts and pursuing new clients as well as leading editorial content presentation in new business pitches/credentials presentations.
To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:
• Significant senior level editorial experience gained from working in a med comms agency, pharmaceutical company or healthcare publishing
• Strategic mind-set
• Strong leadership skills with solid team management experience
• Excellent new business development credentials
• First class presentation skills
