This is an opening for a PR Account Director to join one of the most highly regarded and reputable PR consultancies in the North West joining their financial team. This role, without question, will provide your career with an incredible opportunity to grow and develop.
You will lead a team of consultants and oversee PR, digital and social media campaigns for clients across a diverse range of products, from current accounts, mortgages and savings, to personal loans, credit cards and personal lines insurance, supporting some of the UK’s best-known brands
Reporting directly to the Senior Account Director , on a day to day basis you will work closely with the agency leadership team to deliver the latest thinking in PR across multiple channels and are expected to have good strategic planning experience, sector expertise and relevant media knowledge. You will also write for a range of media. You will head up to a team of 7 inclusive of Account Executives and Account Managers who also specialise in the sector.
What we’re looking for
For this particular higher level role we are looking for candidates that are confident in handling national and trade media, digitally savvy, keen to explore new tools and technologies and are adept in producing content for a wide-range of channels — from blogs, social media posts and infographics to thought leadership pieces and press releases.
We need someone who has more than 5 years PR agency experience ideally within the financial/ corporate sector and who has a track record for delivering successful creative campaigns for major companies and brands.
