Keen to work within a small agency with ambitious growth plans, fantastic clients, and fabulous offices with some of the best views of Birmingham? Keep reading!
Established for three years, this agency has achieved phenomenal success and they’re looking for a keen and ambitious Senior PR Account Executive or PR Account Manager to join their team. They tend to work with corporate and professional services clients, and currently work with some real heavy-hitters in these fields, as well as some really well-known consumer brands on stakeholder and corporate communications. They’re also really focussed on working with clients who promote the fantastic city of Birmingham! So what can you expect from this role? You’ll be keen to work on thought-leadership projects and white papers so you’re going to love writing, but not only that you’ll want to be constantly working with your clients to identify case studies or news-worthy stories and you’ll want to demonstrate your ability at building relationships with journalists and selling in stories.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an SAE/ PR Account Manager with a real nose for a story, who is politically and commercially aware – you’ll hear something on the news in the morning and your immediate thought will be how that fits in with your client and what angle could you take. In terms of background, you could be an AM or SAE within an agency environment with experience of corporate/b2b clients, or perhaps working within a professional services environment and be keen to make the transition to an agency. Given the excellent writing skills required, you might also have a journalism background. Writing will be a big passion, and you’ll be exceptional at it, and you must love the client facing aspect of the role.
What’s on offer?
Salary for the role is between £20-24,000 and on top of that, you’ve got a city centre location, really funky and friendly offices and a great team spirit. There is free fruit and tea and coffee (nice stuff, with a posh machine), childcare vouchers, pension and a bonus scheme is currently being trialled.
