This is a corker of a role – social, digital, offline marketing and PR all incorporated within this role working for a specialist within the beauty industry.
If you really would like to build on already gained broad marketing experience, this role will really set your career on the right track. Our client is a specialist within the beauty industry working within both b2b and b2c markets, and this role will support both a Brand Manager and a Product Manager to develop and implement a marketing strategy for each brand. This might include project managing events such as trade exhibitions and company events and launches, or working alongside the digital team to create and develop digital content for all relevant social channels to meet engagement and reach targets. It will definitely involve assisting in activating campaigns for new product launches and product focuses as well as writing copy for marketing materials (leaflets, DM, newsletters, website, adverts, online content). You’ll handle trade PR enquiries and work with the external PR agency to implement consumer PR activities and you’ll build strong relationships with key trade and consumer media, communicating with them regularly. There’s lots more to this thoroughly exciting position, but this will certainly give you the gist of the breadth of opportunity.
What we’re looking for
You’ll have gained some commercial experience so far, either in a first role after graduating or from a placement year as part of your degree and you’ll be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the full marketing mix, possess creative writing skills and be extremely organised. A real advantage would be experience of Adobe creative suite, but this isn’t a pre-requisite.
