Due to their ongoing development, they are looking to add to their marketing division and are searching for a Corporate Marketing and Communications Consultant who is seeking a role which provides heaps of variety. The main remit of the role is to support the corporate marketing and communications activities, which promote the companies values, people and work, using traditional and digital methods, and you will also be involved in internal communications – so expect to be drafting and publishing content for internal newsletters and the corporate intranet. Although traditional marketing will play a part in the role, digital will have a large emphasis so it’s important that you can coordinate engaging content for social media platforms, edit content for short films, manage marketing budgets for activities such as paid advertising, and track social media and web traffic. In addition to this, you will also be involved with external clients and have the opportunity to get involved in marketing activities and integrate communication activities.
What we’re looking for
It goes without saying that you’ll need to be an experienced marcoms professional, who understands the digital landscape and is well versed in key social media channels. It’s important that you’re able to write and edit content which grabs the attention of the reader and engages an audience, and you are able to translate reports into newsworthy stories. Experience of supporting, managing, and delivering web, digital, and social media communications is also essential. As a person, you must not be afraid to lead a project and key contracts, so it’s integral that you can work on your own initiative as well as with a team and have superb coordination skills! As well as this, occasional travel is required across the UK and abroad, so you must be open to the idea of hopping on a plane every now and again!
