Due to a string of new business wins, this fully integrated agency is looking to hire a Social Media Manager to work alongside their PR and digital teams, and play a pivotal role in adding value to their digital offering.
Their ideal is to find a results-driven individual who is competent in contributing to social strategy creation and has experience creating and placing content across all channels. The integrated structure of the agency means that you will have the opportunity to work alongside their digital, advertising and creative departments and will also benefit from a range of internal training programmes.
Your main responsibilities will be generating creative ideas to feed into social strategies for a mix of B2B and B2C clients, creating engaging platforms for their blogs and writing valuable content and placing this on third-party websites. You will help to manage social advertising schedules and monitor daily conversation on client’s social media channels as well as interacting daily through social media with customers, consumers and partners. You will also contribute/interact on online forums and engagement platforms and provide copywriting resource for digital and PR campaigns, and assist with building social communities and improving engagement rates for a mix of well-known clients.
What we’re looking for
It’s ideal to have a minimum of 2 years’ agency experience and possess extensive experience of creating and placing content as well as a strong interest in media, digital and marketing. You’ll be passionate about creating content and cultivating fan engagement and growth and possess an understanding and sensitivity to the difference between social media for a brand vs. an individual. Needless to say, you will have strong written communication skills with attention to detail and creative voice, and be able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
