Contract position available for a Communications Manager with a hugely successful Midlands organisation.
This is a great, classic Communications Manager position where you will be responsible for supporting a range of client’s communications activity that promotes the West Midlands as a destination for leisure, business tourism, and inward investment to a regional, national and international audience. This is a busy role where no two days will be the same. The responsibilities of the role cover stakeholder, project, and agency management, public affairs, internal and corporate communications, and on and offline media liaison.
What we’re looking for
It is essential that you will be available to start within 2 weeks (sooner if possible). You’ll have a relevant degree and/or a professional communications qualification, but you could have worked agency side or in-house previously, though you will have experience across the b2b sector. Specific experience from financial or professional services would be useful but certainly not essential. It’s vital that you have in depth of experience in multi-stakeholder management and it’s a given that you will be a communications professional with experience in traditional and digital media.
What’s on offer?
The salary offered is £35,000 - £40,000 with additional softer benefits, there is a possibility that the role may become permanent, (this will be reviewed toward the end of the financial year).
