One of the most successful and decorated PR agencies within the Manchester region is looking for an experienced PR Account Executive to join their consumer team following a sustained period of significant growth after winning a selection of new accounts from within the food, travel and lifestyle sector.
Upon joining this worldwide agency, you’ll be working on an interesting mix of consumer accounts in the retail, drink, food, travel, and lifestyle sectors. You will also be working alongside senior PR practitioners, and your duties will be many and varied, which makes the role diverse and interesting, but the key function will be developing strong relationships with clients and advising them; identifying client needs through regular contact and taking briefs; writing press releases, features, and various kinds of copy; confidently selling-in to media; and being involved in client meetings. Additionally, you will be expected to assist with events, social media and other marketing related projects.
What we’re looking for
Above all else, it is important that are capable of developing and implementing a PR campaign for a broad range of media and more than happy to pitch in on other projects as and when required. You will also need great media and client relations skills, an excellent knowledge of the media landscape (traditional and digital); strong writing skills and a natural talent for creating newsworthy and engaging content. Due to the size and structure of this agency we are keen to hear from consumer-focused PR candidates that are happy to work in an evolving and engaging environment, that have gained at least 12 months relevant experience within an agency or in-house environment.
