This is a Social Media Manager opening with an iconic media and broadcast company as they looking to add to their growing digital team in their Manchester offices.
The Social Media Manager role
Reporting to the Commercial Digital Director you will be managing their customer’s /advertisers social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities whilst monitoring and responding to users in a social way whilst still cultivating leads and sales. You will be developing new social products to take to marketing based on trends. Content is an important aspect of the role as you will be in charge of developing relevant content topics to reach new and existing target customers whilst still creating, curating and manage all published content (Images, Video and Written). You will be dealing with influencer outreach, developing strategies, building relationships and analyse data.
What we're looking for
You'll most likely need a solid 3 to 4 years’ experience in a social media role in a similar consumer/FMCG or media/broadcast environment. Somewhere where you will have had experience of reaching millennials via social media. Experience of using a CRM platform is preferable and will be someone who is able to communicate ideas with clarity and passion to a wide audience. Needless to say, you will be tech savvy, good at networking and be someone who can spot opportunities and cultivate them.
