An all-round communications role, this company gives the benefit of working with external clients, in a more ‘client-side’ environment.
Our client’s main responsibility is to aid in the process of building and expanding business across the region – making it as attractive as possible to potential investors, tourists and businesses. Supporting the Communications Manager, you will support a range of clients with communications activity to support the region nationally and internationally. You’ll be involved with traditional and new media campaigns, developing stories and building relationships with the press and producing media collateral and media lists, but also with internal and corporate communications – suggesting and drafting case studies or other communications. Public affairs and stakeholder communications will also be part of your role, including writing briefing notes and planning stakeholder campaigns (events, newsletter etc.) but previous experience within PA is not essential. You’ll work alongside an external agency and you’ve been involved with the account management of your clients and project managing campaigns.
What we’re looking for
To be considered for the role you will be of Graduate calibre or similar with proven commercial experience within a communications environment, whether that be in-house or agency. A business to business background would be useful, but if you have experience of place marketing, investment promotion or economic development as well that would be an advantage. You’ll be happy to work with clients and understand the process of working with multiple stakeholders.
What’s on offer?
£19,000 - £22,000 dependent on experience, but this is an organisation which is going through really positive change and growth so offers plenty of progression opportunities.
