PR Account Manager

This is a great role for a consumer-focused PR Account Manager to join a first-class PR and digital agency in one of the most up and coming areas of Manchester. Their client base would rival many of the bigger agencies, and their record of staff development and retention is excellent.

The role

You will be joining an extremely successful team which has won several awards over the last 2-3 years, and you will be managing a raft of clients in the consumer sector from bespoke fashion retailers to high-end luxury hotel groups and iconic brands. It is a key role within the agency where you will liaise regularly with your clients as well as the media, both national and local so exposure to both is essential. On a day to day, you will be key to developing relationships with your clients, as well as helping and guiding a small team of account executives. You will also be involved in coordinating bespoke and unique events as well as driving regional and national media relationships to develop social and content focused campaigns. Due to the structure of the agency, you will benefit from working alongside some very talented and experienced PR practitioners as well as the opportunity to get involved in a whole range of campaigns that you may not be exposed to in a large agency setting.

What we’re looking for

This is most definitely a key appointment within the company, where you will provide guidance to a number of high profile brands in the consumer sector. The role will involve developing PR strategies and solutions for these brands, so it is important you have at least three-five years’ experience in a consumer-focused PR role, which has ideally been gained in an agency setting. As a person, you must be operating at an account manager or senior account manager level, with a proven ability to build excellent client relations as well as experience of guiding other team members. Alongside this, you should be innovative when it comes to a pitch, and be able to lead creativity on accounts and encourage your team to be proactive in this area. You will also enjoy working in an environment which thrives on creativity and top draw client service, as well as being exposed to accounts that will seriously add value to your career.

What’s on offer?
