A global communications agency is looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join its Medical Education team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly reputable and successful team and work on an interesting range of projects for global pharmaceutical companies. This agency is happy to consider candidates looking to work 4 days a week.
You will be responsible for drafting, editing and referencing scientific/medical peer review publications in line with guidance from authors. You will manage the approval of publications in line with client’s working practices and international guidelines and you will be responsible for incorporating comments and answering queries on publications from authors and company reviewers. You will manage multiple editorial projects to deadlines and you will be tasked with reviewing and editing the work of other writers to ensure quality and accuracy. You will also be involved in publications planning and developing speaker briefs and slides for satellite symposia, stand-alone physicians’ meetings, and on-line physician education activities.
To be considered for this position you must be educated to degree level in a science subject and have significant medical writing experience, including the development of manuscripts and reviews, gained from working in an agency environment. In addition, you must have excellent project management skills and a keen eye for detail and have a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with ease.
