We are looking for a highly ambitious and confident communications professional for an Account Manager/Senior Account Manager opportunity within a full-service global communications agency. This role will sit within the agency’s Public and Corporate Affairs team in London and will cover corporate communications and some public affairs, including international public affairs.
This is a truly exciting opportunity to be part of leading communications agency and work with a creative and talented team on major client accounts. You will work closely with the team across accounts, helping to develop strategies, plan activity and implement agreed plans in-line with the client’s objectives, timeline and budget. You will be responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day activity and you will be a key contact on assigned accounts. You will be involved in developing key materials for clients such as crisis plans, messaging and Q&A documents and you will be responsible for ensuring they are of the highest quality and delivered on time. You will be expected to keep up-to-date with relevant industry news and developments and be able to use this knowledge to help inform strategy and advise clients.
To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:
• Solid corporate communications experience gained from working in an agency coupled with an understanding of and interest in public affairs
• Strong news sense
• Outstanding writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
