A fully integrated communications consultancy is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join its Local team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a specialist team with expertise ranging from contentious planning applications and major infrastructure projects, through to community campaigns and stakeholder engagement.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of interesting projects and you will be responsible for executing short and long term client campaigns as well as contributing to the development of client’s overall communications strategy. You will be a day-to-day client contact and you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships. You will be tasked with manging the delivery of work by junior colleagues, supporting their development by providing constructive feedback, ideas and motivation. You will also play a key role in the team’s future growth through supporting new business activity, including identifying opportunities and contributing to the development and delivery of pitches.
To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:
• Relevant communications experience with a focus on local government or planning and development (ideally gained from working in a consultancy/agency environment)
• Experience in delivering local communications campaigns
• Knowledge of, and interest in, the UK political landscape, including local political campaigning
• Strong news sense
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
