Account Manager

We are recruiting a talented and ambitious Account Manager to join our team.

ANTEATER is a London-based food, drink, travel and lifestyle communications agency delivering long-term bespoke public relations and marketing consultancy, powerful digital and social media management, high profile event production, and business development to a diverse selection of upscale hospitality brands.

Founded in 2012, Antony Rettie and his associates launch high profile brands and provide thoroughly effective strategic campaigns for chefs, restaurants, bars, private clubs and hotels. Style conscious and results driven, this full-service agency guarantees exposure and connections.

This is a varied and exciting role within a dynamic agency on an upwards growth curve. The position offers the right candidate the chance to gain a solid understanding of public relations and marketing, whilst harnessing communications skills.

Role Requirements:

an extensive network of relevant media and industry connections
2 years or more of experience in PR, ideally with a knowledge and understanding of food, drink, travel and hospitality sector a social and outgoing approach to business, with a passion for writing; networking and presenting possess in-depth knowledge of the inner workings of the national, regional, broadcast and online media exceptional organisation skills, attention to detail and an energetic proactive nature have a keen interest in and understanding of social media

This role is to drive client accounts, ensuring that strategies and activities are undertaken to a high standard, that objectives are being met, expectations exceeded and that accounts are well managed.

Key responsibilities will include:

proactively seek and identify publicity opportunities to ensure that the greatest possible level of coverage is achieved plan strategy for and explore opportunities on behalf of a designated portfolio of accounts supervise and manage all Account Executive, Intern and Work Placement activity lead monthly client meetings, initiatives and campaign development meetings brief designers, photographers, printers and other suppliers in a knowledgeable and precise manner, negotiate costs etc attend client and industry events and awards schedule, plan and manage a comprehensive programme of events for clients management of new business-related presentation assignments
