Like to be involved in a sports brand from the inside out and be based in stunning central London offices? We're looking for an experienced Account Director, with boundless energy, passion and drive plus a keen interest in delivering high profile brand communications. The successful candidate will primarily support this one key account and be both strategic in style and clever at negotiating, persuading and influencing brand ambassadors and the media alike. This is not just a media relations led position, although your digital media, social media and print media know-how will be well navigated.
This position contributes to the collective PR team as a whole and towards business growth including new business development, both organic and external. Ideally, you will have good knowledge of working big, blue chip retail brands and have strong contacts in the sport, lifestyle media, plus some fashion would be useful.
• Strong networking skills with excellent media contacts and a proven ability in media, social and digital relations activity
• A proactive individual able to contribute creatively to new business development, previous involvement in presenting and pitching
• Excellent writing, presentation and general communication skills
• Proven time management and project management skills, ability to juggle multiple projects
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a mid-tier or large UK public relations consultancy or relevant in-house communications experience.
Candidates should also be able to demonstrate and explain how the campaigns they have worked on have delivered tangible results for their clients.
